A Tip Or Three! A Tip Or Three!

I figured I’d give a tip or two, plus the cat is mean and doesn’t share, so I’ll show him up. Plus I have been standing forever, so something easy would be nice. Enough nices and pluses yet? Hey, at least there are no minus’s. Unless your back is having a fit and you have to stand all day. I’d say that is a minus.

Here is one that saves TONS of time and makes you look good too. It is:

Twitterfeed

With it you can put in your blog feed and any new post it will send to Twitter automatically. You’ll never have to hit that button on your post to send it again. Unless the site goes away, then you may have to, just saying. Plus you can put in anyone’s blog feed. So you can set up 100 blog feeds, if you follow that many, and each time there is a post, poof, it will automatically get tweeted. Now you can share all your friends posts and not lift a finger. Can also be used for LinkedIn, I think Facebook too, but not sure as I don’t use that.

Manageflitter

Another fun little one that helps you clean up your Twitter account better than anything I’ve tried out there. Can also easily find people who you might like to follow by keyword, username, etc.

Hootsuite

A great one to manage it all. If you have lots of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. accounts, or a mixture of a bunch, Hootsuite does the trick. You can easily hop from one to the other without having to have separate browser tabs open or logging in to 50 things. Works great and something one should really look into (probably already know) if they run a social media business.

And there are my tips for the day. Do I get a tip for my tips? Gonna use the tip my hat remark? Maybe use it with Hatt? Oops, did I ruin it? Yeah, I’ve heard that one. So there you are, a tip or three, to save some time for thee.

Enjoy life, forget the strife.

I have Hootsuite through Feedly Pro, but I can’t figure out how to make it work.

It does help a lot, not sure on how to use it through that though

No Twitter for me. I do have LinkedIn, but hardly ever use it. I’m kind of glad to not have more social media. Just the blog and Ravelry is almost too much…

For many people, tipping is a way of ensuring continued good service. For example, if you go to the same hairdresser every month, you probably want to keep him or her happy by tipping well, usually 15 to 20 percent; but what about all of those other services you receive?
