Beginning Again!

So those of you who know where I have hidden out the last, almost, 4 years, know that I have been around the block with blogging. In case you don’t know, there are 1500 posts to that fact, one every day, over at It’s Rhyme Time. Granted some aren’t posted yet, as I am 5 months ahead over there after all. So it may seem strange for some not to see a rhyme, but you still may if the cat decides to hijack this blog every once in a while.

I just figured it was time for a more professional looking site, as I had the url and a crappy site attached to it already, so why not move onwards and upwards? Tom at Nicely Done Sites helped out a ton and made my crappy site into something much, much better. So big thanks to him for that. And he added a blog to it. I couldn’t leave an empty blog just sitting here, which means now some days you will get a double dose of me. If that is too much, blame him for it. But if you have to pick one, go with the cat, he has an ego and needs it inflated by comments after all.

Blogging can take many forms. My current one takes the form of anything and everything under the disguise of my cat. I can post zombie feet and whatever else I like. Thanks to the rhyme I can get away with everything I post there. The cat has no filter and just lets it fly. And you know what? I find that is the best style because then you can post on anything and everything. The moment you constrict yourself is the moment you will start to get bored or bore your readers. So there will be plenty of ranting and droning on here, but it won’t be on the same things. Although I may use more of a filter than the cat. I do want to sell some kids books after all. So I guess I’ll just have to bleep out any bad words if they should arise.

Now will I get ahead in posts here? Most definitely. Will I post every day all year long. Umm no! I will blog at least a few times a week here. But every day on two blogs would be quite the task, even if I am five months ahead on the other. Blame the cat for me rubbing that in. So don’t expect double the posts from me every day. But expect a few posts most weeks.

Some may be thinking the cat is through at his blog zoo now that I have this one. Well put that thought out of your mind right now. The cat’s blog will live on long after this one. If all other online endeavors go away for me, the cat will forever stay. Until I drop dead anyway.

So I hope you enjoy some rantings not in rhyme and also have a fun time. Double blogging might seem hard for many, but I think Orlin and I are up to the challenge.

Have you ran more than one blog before? Bought a book yet from my shore? Do you care if I put in a rhyme or two? And yep, I’ll still be using Whoopdi Friggin Doo.

Enjoy life, forget the strife.

Admitting to 1500 posts written makes me tired. The fact that you’re 5 months ahead, well…makes me angry. 🙂

Congrats on the new blog! It’s fun to see you out of rhyme! I think a separate and G-rated blog is a great idea, especially for someone writing kids’ books.

Good thing you have so much done in advance on the other site. Keeping up two would drive me nuts, I think! Even though I have quite a few posts built up in reserve, too…
