The Many Works of Pat Hatt
Doesn’t it always seem like we are waiting for something? It doesn’t have to be anything big or life changing, but there always seems to be something. Right now of course Christmas is what most every kiddo is waiting for, and many adults too. That is a given. Stop and think about everything else you wait for.
The next big movie. Cough Avengers 2 cough. Why do people use cough?
Stuck waiting in line at the grocery store.
Stuck waiting in traffic.
Maybe stuck and waiting go hand and hand? Or would that be bumper to bumper? Cart to cart? If at Wal-Mart it may be butt crack to butt crack.
Waiting for work to end.
Waiting for bed.
Waiting for that next TV Show to come on.
Waiting for that big game.
Waiting for trash day.
Waiting for the cat/dog to get snip snipped. What? That leg humping gives you a thrill? Okay, maybe you aren’t waiting for that.
Waiting for the next machine at the gym so you can work out.
Waiting for supper, if your lazy butt is too well lazy to serve yourself.
Waiting in a crummy doctor’s office.
Waiting for “the one” to come along. Psssst unless you are in love with dust, or maybe the mailman, you may be waiting quite a while if all you do is wait.
Waiting seems to be the name of the game in life. There is always something to wait for. I suppose it could be worse, all we could wait for is to kick the bucket. I guess the more things we wait for the more things we like, or in the case with traffic and say Wal-Mart’s butt crackville, the more we hate. Just another observation I may or may not have stole from the cat. Hey, I feed him so a little theft is okay.
Waiting for anything fun? Waiting for anything you hate? Any to add to the list?
Hopefully everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Enjoy life, forget the strife.
