Pet Peeve Land

Do pet’s have peeves? Do they pee on things that end in ves? Would that mean they pee on haves? Something like that? So does that conclude that humans should pet and pee on things that they have pet peeves about? Hmmm, you might get arrested that way. Am I thinking about it too much? Yeah, better get on with IWSG’s question this month.

What are your pet peeves when reading/writing/editing?

I’m not sure I have any specific pet peeves. Not that I want to go petting things, you never know what germs you may get.

Editing isn’t the funnest process for me, but it has to be done. Even if you never want to read it again after you’ve gone over it 100 times. Still not really a pet peeve.

Writing I can get annoyed by people who sit there while you write or know you are a writer and then they start yapping about how easy it is, how they should write one, etc. So much of that nonsense. So I guess there can be a pet peeve.

Reading the only major pet peeve is when the font is waaaaaaaay to small, it goes on and on and on, mostly that one is blog posts about nothing at all, and when it is set up stupid or has funky coloring. Kinda like:

How

do

you

like

this

?

I guess it turns out I do have a few pet peeves. I am still not going to pet you if you makes such peeves. The cat may gladly pee in your shoe though. Hmmm am I going on and on about pet peeves? Whoops, I’ll now go pet the cat while he pees. Double win!

Do you have any pet peeves when it comes to the above three?

Enjoy life, forget the strife.

Hi Pat – there are some things that I’m really unhappy with … but I realise that each has their own way and mentally decide to leave it at that. Sometimes we don’t realise what we’re doing ourselves … as to what the blog looks like etc – we do it so it looks good our end… but how are others opening it – and with which technology etc What we’re saying – does it make sense in other countries, is it polite etc …

I also try and make life easy for everyone and thus myself … peace!! Cheers Hilary

Very true. Sometimes our words don’t go over well in other countries, as they may mean something else or just not make sense.

If writing is so easy, bucko, you do it!
Fortunately small font is no issue with an eBook.

Plenty of pet peeves for me… typing on a phone, no internet access when and where I need it most, having to rely on reading glasses now, oh, and one The Cat brought up just last week… people who won’t take the time to look things up but expect others to. Good thing there are many adventures to prevent dwelling on the negative!

haha you sure could go on a bunch. Ugg to reading glasses. Yeah, those people can go pffft away and look it up themselves.
